I thought this idea was great, I have seen it done many times before with kids devouring their first chance at birthday cake, no bibs, no clothes, no utensils, no mommies cleaning up, just a chance to 'go for it!' But like Tatum, Lincoln doesn't like anything on his hands, so anything that got in his mouth was because I helped it along.
As you can see in the above picture, he has a little on his finger, and at this point he was done, but I thought as soon as he tastes it he will dive right in, right? Wrong!

I'm even more in love with this boy than before. He's a handsome lad, even though he wasn't a fan of the cake!
I laughed out loud when I saw the last of the birthday pictures. Who would have thought he ended up in tears? Great photo moments for sure.
